Palliative care

The goal of palliative care is to provide the best quality of life for the critically or chronically ill by ensuring their comfort and dignity. Palliative care is not a disease or age-specific and can benefit any patient with an advanced disease or life-limiting illness.

The palliative care team is determined by the needs of the patient and his/her family. It often includes nurses and aids with specialized palliative care skills, the family physician, social worker, spiritual care counselor and a pharmacist.

Social services

Holmes Health Care social workers help families meet the challenges of caring for a loved one at home. Holmes Health will coordinate necessary services with other community agencies and help in identifying sources of financial assistance.

Pediatric services

Because children have unique needs, Holmes Health Care has developed a special home care program just for them. Holmes Health Care team is made up of Aids specializing in pediatrics and health management who care exclusively for children.
